Last week LiL Wayne dropped his mixtape ‘Dedication 4′ and Nicki Minaj was featured on his “Mercy” record stating that she was a Republican and endorsing Mitt Romney.
“I’m a Republican voting for Mitt Romney/You lazy b-tches is f-cking up the economy.”
Nicki recieved tons of backlash even death threats from the public. In an interview with Orlando’s Power 953, President Obama, alluded that he didn’t take what she said very serious and that it was probably one of her “characters”
“I’m not sure that’s actually what happened. I think she had a song on there, a little rap that said that, but she likes to play different characters. So I don’t know what’s going on there.
Once Nicki heard that the President responded to her, Nicki took to her Twitter to speak to him directly:
